Job Description

Job Summary:
An Estimation Engineer – ELV / Security Systems is responsible for preparing accurate and 
competitive cost estimates for ELV projects including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion 
Alarm, Gate Barriers, and other low-voltage systems.
The role involves quantity take-offs from drawings, preparing BOQs, conducting rate 
analysis, coordinating with OEMs/vendors, and supporting technical and commercial 
bid submissions while ensuring compliance with project specifications and client 
requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Review tender documents, drawings, Technical Specifications, and BOQs.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Alarm, Gate 
Automation systems and Cabling.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing sheets.
• BOQ preparation, variation costing, and cost control practices.
• Conduct rate analysis for materials, cabling, containment, and manpower.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and OEMs.
• Coordinate with design and technical teams for compliance.
• Prepare technical compliance statements, tendering procedures, and commercial 
proposals.
• Support project execution team with cost clarifications during handover
