Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Channel Sales Engineer to expand and manage the partner network for solar rooftop products and solutions. The candidate will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, training, and supporting channel partners (dealers, distributors, EPCs) to drive revenue growth and increase market share in assigned regions.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Channel Development
Identify and recruit potential channel partners (installers, dealers, EPCs) for rooftop solar systems.
Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
2. Sales & Revenue Generation
Drive sales through the channel network by providing regular product and pricing updates.
Devise and implement suitable go-to-market strategies and plans.
Achieve sales targets and ensure consistent revenue growth from assigned territories.
3. Training & Support
Conduct product and sales training sessions for channel partners.
Support partners with technical knowledge, proposals, and assistance in closing deals.
4. Market Development
Gather market intelligence and track competitor activities to provide feedback to internal teams.
Organize or participate in local trade shows, exhibitions, and partner events to promote products.
5. Performance Monitoring
Track channel performance metrics (sales volume, conversions, lead quality).
Evaluate channel productivity and implement corrective actions where required.
6. Coordination
Collaborate closely with internal teams (Engineering, Operations, Finance) to ensure smooth project execution and partner satisfaction.
Coordinate logistics, order fulfillment, and post-sales support activities.
Key Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in channel sales within the solar industry.
Strong understanding of rooftop solar systems (On-Grid, Off-Grid, Hybrid).
Proven experience in developing and managing dealer/distributor networks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel extensively.
